Soccer Vs Central

On Saturday morning we woke up at 7am to go to soccer. Soccer started at 8.15am so I got ready for the big game. I had breakfast and got my soccer boots on and me and mum drove to soccer. We did some warm ups running around the field and shots in goal. Finally, the game started and they kicked off.

We all started charging at their team and I shot but I just missed. 10 minutes into the game I scored a hat trick and I passed it to Nalu and he shot and he scored but it was off side so it wasn't a goal. But then I crossed it in and Nalu scored. Rori crossed it in and I volleyed it in and nearly did a backflip. The first half was five nil. We got back on the field, they scored, so it was 5-1. Then we scored another goal. The final whistle blew It was full time.
After the game we did a celebration and we did the player of the day. The player of the day went to Hunter. After the game I went to get in mums car and went to get a new soccer ball. Our final score was 6-1 to Wainui Thunders.

Playing Manutuke in soccer

On saturday morning we drove to Wilson park. We had to wake up at 745 to get ready for soccer. I got ready and then I jumped in the car and we drove to wilson park. Our game started at 815 so we had to do worm ups. We did some shots in goal and pacies with the ball. When we got in our positions I did paper scissors rock with the munutokes player and I won.

I kicked it to Rori and he ran up the field and passed it to me and I crossed it in but Reef just missed it. It had been 25 minutes that was the first half it was 7 0 to us. We got back on the field and manutuke started and we got the ball of them straight away. I ran up the field and scored a goal and then another goal. Then Manutuke ran up the filed and I tripped up and they scored. There was 1 minute to go in the game. I dribbled it up the field and crossed it in to Brame and Bram scored. Then the whistle blowed.

We ran to our couch and we did 3 cheers for manutuke one for the reef and one for the supporters the score was 11-1 to us. Then we did player of the day and reef got the player of the day. After that we went home and we had a play and that was the end of the day.

On Tuesday we got ready and Roger took us to the airport. We took our luggage out of the car and waited for our plan to come. Finally the plane arrived. We got in our seats and the plane took off like a speeding cheetah. The first plane took 1 hour and the second plane took 2 hours. After 3 hours we arrived. We went to our motel on Lake Wakitipu and and looked around downtown Queenstown.

On Wednesday, we went on the Kjet jet boat. It was super duper fun.We were going so fast I could hardly open my eyes. After, we went  in a glass room under the dock where you could see long fin eels, trout, and diving ducks.  The eels were ginormous, even bigger than me. 

In the afternoon, we went to Coronet Peak.  It was our first time seeing snow. It was like crumpled up ice. There were about 900 people skiing and snowboarding.

When we got back from the 2 week holiday it was school and I was so excited to go back to school to learn more. I couldn't get to sleep I just kept thinking about it. Then I finally got to sleep I went to bed at nine.

In the morning I had breakfast and packed my bag. After I packed my bag Mum dropped me and Monte of at school. When the second bell rang I went in the class. After the teacher was done talking I saw what my priorities were and then I sat in my set place and did my ninjamathe. After brain break, morning tea and lunch I finished 2 of my priorities. 

At home time mum picked me and Monte up and I told her all about my day and she was so excited that I finished 2 priorities. 

learning about matariki.

On Monday we learnt about Matariki. We went around the whole class looking for these little notes what told you about Matariki. On the Japanese cars the cars have Subaru logos. The Subaru logo has a picture of the Matariki star cluster.

So we got a piece of A3 paper with some puzzles on it. At first I didn't know what to do but once I got the hang of it I started looking around the classroom to find the little notes. I was doing it with Nalu. Some of it was really hard because we had to go back and read it again. After I was done I had to color, cut it out and even put the puzzle pieces together that was the hardis bit. Then we gave it to the teacher.

When I was done I helped other people finish it and I finished my priorities at the same time.
